Climate Change
Climate Change disproportionately affects the world's poorest and most marginalised people. This year we will be lobbying the university to set renewable energy targets, as well as encouragin students to reduce their carbon impact.
Besides important behind-the-scenes lobbying, this will include holding visible and fun events on campus (photo petitions, info stalls & awareness campaigns).

Make Trade Fair
Trade generates incredible wealth and links the lives of everyone on the planet. Yet millions of people in poor countries are losing out. Why? Because the rules controlling trade heavily favour rich nations that set the rules.
There's something seriously wrong with this picture so we're doing our bit to make UNSW a Fair Trade campus.
Help us make sure the chocolate and coffee sold at UNSW is Fair trade this year.
OzHarvest
A lot of hungry students means outlets at UNSW make a lot of food. But at the end of the day when we've all gone home what's left used to go to waste.
Last year we started participating in the OzHarvest food rescue program, bringing untouched left-over food from outlets on campus to our city's soup kitchens and shelters.
We'd love to keep this running, so if you'd like to get involved and have an afternoon a week to spare let us know!

If you've got more money than the average student (or are a member of staff) you might want to join Oxfam Australia's regular giving program aware and support Oxfam Australia in their work around the world.
